Today we played in the pool in the backyard. It was a beautiful day.

Another day at the 'desert house'...

...Ms. Addison loves the 'desert house' thats what she calls it :)
It was close to 110 degrees when we were there. Whew and it wasn't even technically summer yet. While we were there, we were able to see Addie's FIRST MOVIE Shrek, Happily Ever After. We also enjoyed the company of Jeremy's parents. It was a short but sweet trip :)

Day Two we travelled to Oatman, AZ, a little historic town a few miles from the desert house.

Addison fed the Donkey a carrot! I couldn't believe she fed the donkey only once and I caught a picture of it!

We also enjoyed sarsaparillas and ice cream!

GYMNASTICS!!!

Soon after Addie's 2nd birthday, she started gymnastics! Need I say more... the pictures tell how much she enjoys the class. She looks forward to it weekly!

The PUMP-KIN PATCH!!!

Fall is my favorite time of the year! All the vibrant colors of orange, the warm(not hot and not cold) weather and crock pot Sundays :) Today we went to the Corona Pumpkin Patch off El Sobrante between Sixth St and Magnolia. There were so many rides there for the older kids but Addie baddie enjoyed walking through all the pumpkins :). Being the little princess she is, she didn't like all the hay on the ground, so picky!

Getting a great shot was challenging at first, then Daddy gave her a mini pumpkin and I couldn't stop taking pictures!!!

It was about 5pm when we went and the weather was perfect and the sun added a nice glow to Addie :)

The River!

After 'many' planned trips... we finally made it out to the river Labor Day weekend. We arrived Wednesday night and enjoyed the river to ourselves Thursday and Friday :)

First day on the river :0) It was HOT but we tried to stay cool...Addie wasn't sure about the rocks and didn't want to walk around at first, let alone get in the water...

Second day on the river... we were the early birds!!! We were there for a few hours before anyone else came down to the dock, YIPPEE!

It wouldn't be a complete trip without Dora! Not just on her pajamas but also on DVD... and just like home, there is Eddie right next to her.
